Felkod 17748 på Polo GTI

Hej!

Läste av felkoder på en kompis Polo GTI 1,6 16V och fick fram felkod 17748 Camshaft Position Sensor (G40) / Engine Speed Sensor (G28): Incor. Correlation.

Menas det att kamremmen är felmonterad eller?!
Motorlampan lyser och jag sa att hon inte bör köra så mycket med bilen före felet är åtgärdat.

"the upper timing chain was the problem, the chain was streched badly and the upper tensioner was at its limit. The intake cam had jumped by two teeth. All the chain guides were like new. The lower chain did not seam to be streched at all but we went ahead and replaced it. I think this might be one of many, this car only had 50k on it."

"Pop your valve cover and make sure you still have 16 rollers between the TDC marks.
And move #3 ignition coil to #2 and see if the misfire follows it.
